Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Iraqi untitled (Woman With A Rooster) by Faik Hassan was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2017. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 36,250.00 (€ 43,047.50). Admittedly, works by Faik Hassan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Baghdadiyat in May this year with an auction result of GBP 190,900.00 (€ 222,113.42).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Iraqi untitled (Woman With A Rooster) von Faik Hassan kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 36.250,00 (€ 43.047,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Faik Hassan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Baghdadiyat im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 190.900,00 (€ 222.113,42).
