In November 2021 Christies held the auction Middle Eastern 20th and 21st Century Art, which included the work Portrait of Rita Parker by Faik Hassan. The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,870.47) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Faik Hassan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baghdadiyat in May this year with an auction result of GBP 190,900.00 (€ 222,113.42).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Middle Eastern 20th and 21st Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of Rita Parker von Faik Hassan zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.870,47) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Faik Hassan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baghdadiyat im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 190.900,00 (€ 222.113,42).
