In March this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Artemisia by Ewa Juszkiewicz. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 113,400.00 (€ 129,014.40), 42% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ewa Juszkiewicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a Lady (After Louis Leopold Boilly) in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,560,000.00 (€ 1,453,732.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 42 % übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Artemisia von Ewa Juszkiewicz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 113.400,00 (€ 129.014,40) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ewa Juszkiewicz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady (After Louis Leopold Boilly) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.560.000,00 (€ 1.453.732,18).
