Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (after Jean-Antoine Watteau) by Ewa Juszkiewicz for HKD 44,450.00 (€ 5,363.06). This price was achieved in the auction Satellite: Online Auction at Phillips in 7 - and was even below the estimate range of HKD 45,000.00 – 65,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ewa Juszkiewicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a Lady (After Louis Leopold Boilly) in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,560,000.00 (€ 1,453,732.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (after Jean-Antoine Watteau) von Ewa Juszkiewicz für HKD 44.450,00 (€ 5.363,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Satellite: Online Auction bei Phillips in 7 - erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 45.000,00 – 65.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ewa Juszkiewicz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady (After Louis Leopold Boilly) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.560.000,00 (€ 1.453.732,18).
