Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Evert Pieters could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in February 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist and Modern Art auction, the work Vase De Fleurs changed hands for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,859.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Evert Pieters have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2021 by the work The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio at GBP 15,250.00 (€ 17,914.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Evert Pieters konnte im Februar 2009 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Vase De Fleurs für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.859,26) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Evert Pieters wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im März 2021 die Arbeit The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio mit GBP 15.250,00 (€ 17.914,82).
