Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In the vegetable garden, Blaricum by Evert Pieters was sold in the Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2016. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Evert Pieters - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 15,250.00 (€ 17,914.82).

Die Arbeit In the vegetable garden, Blaricum von Evert Pieters wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - including Dutch Impressionism bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Evert Pieters mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The sculptor Alphonse van Beurden in his studio beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 15.250,00 (€ 17.914,82) versteigert wurde.
