Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Good Luck Lamp by Evan Holloway was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 16,380.00 (€ 13,948.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Evan Holloway have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Right Twist in September 2019 with an auction result of USD 115,000.00 (€ 105,456.21).
