However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Etty Horton - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A horseman by a pond in a wooded landscape; and A horse and cart by a cottage, which sold at auction in November 2000 for GBP 1,880.00 (€ 3,072.79).
