Auction result well in line with expectations
In September this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work Coleman, Washington Heights, NY by Esther Bubley. The price achieved of USD 512.00 (€ 483.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Esther Bubley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In the Waiting Room, Greyhound Bus Terminal, New York, c. 1949, which sold at auction in December 2012 for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,895.95).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 512,00 (€ 483,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden.
