The work Paisaje Con Campesinos by Esteban Chartrand was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2008. The »bidding war« ended at USD 56,250.00 (€ 44,312.27), 61% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Esteban Chartrand; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ingenio Con Río sold at auction in November 2010 with the realized price of USD 74,500.00 (€ 57,149.43).

Die Arbeit Paisaje Con Campesinos von Esteban Chartrand wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 44.312,27) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Esteban Chartrand; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ingenio Con Río im November 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 74.500,00 (€ 57.149,43).
