Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ornaments On A Dresser, In An Interior; And In The Libary by Ernst Czernotzky was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,576.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Ernst Czernotzky have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2006 the work Oriental still life was auctioned for GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,782.04).
