A top price for Ernesto Briel - as previously expected
The work A Pair of Untitled Works by Ernesto Briel was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The price achieved of USD 25,200.00 (€ 21,459.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Pair of Untitled Works is the most expensive artwork by Ernesto Briel that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit A Pair of Untitled Works von Ernesto Briel kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 21.459,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist A Pair of Untitled Works das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ernesto Briel, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
