Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ernesto Briel could be acquired at Bonhams in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, this work without title changed hands for USD 11,520.00 (€ 10,453.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ernesto Briel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Pair of Untitled Works, which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 25,200.00 (€ 21,459.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ernesto Briel konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 11.520,00 (€ 10.453,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ernesto Briel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Pair of Untitled Works beobachtet, die im März 2021 für USD 25.200,00 (€ 21.459,59) versteigert wurde.
