Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Portrait Of Frank Samora) by Ernest Martin Hennings was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 81,250.00 (€ 68,288.79). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Martin Hennings achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Summer in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,553,000.00 (€ 1,057,325.71).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Portrait Of Frank Samora) von Ernest Martin Hennings kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 81.250,00 (€ 68.288,79) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Martin Hennings erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indian Summer im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.553.000,00 (€ 1.057.325,71).
