In May 2019 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Damian Mondragon by Ernest Martin Hennings. The result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 35,877.66) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Martin Hennings achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Summer in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,553,000.00 (€ 1,057,325.71).

Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Damian Mondragon von Ernest Martin Hennings zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 35.877,66) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Martin Hennings erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indian Summer im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.553.000,00 (€ 1.057.325,71).
