Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 425,075.00 (€ 364,965.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 350,000.00 – 550,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ernest Martin Hennings - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Indian Summer, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 1,553,000.00 (€ 1,057,325.71).
