It achieved a price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,255.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Shepard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Here Is Edward Bear, Coming Downstairs Now, Bump, Bump, Bump, On The Back Of His Head, Behind Christopher Robin." in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 139,250.00 (€ 171,733.92).

Die Arbeit Fragonading in the Park (i); Helping the gardener (ii); Study of a pig (iii) von Ernest Shepard kam im November 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.255,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Shepard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Here Is Edward Bear, Coming Downstairs Now, Bump, Bump, Bump, On The Back Of His Head, Behind Christopher Robin." im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 139.250,00 (€ 171.733,92).
