Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Sothebys in Zurich held the auction Modern & Contemporary Auction, which included the work La chèvre attachée by Ernest Bieler. The price achieved of CHF 47,880.00 (€ 47,889.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Bieler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Trois Jeunes Filles De Granois, 1920 in June 2017 with an auction result of CHF 672,500.00 (€ 614,803.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit La chèvre attachée von Ernest Bieler zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 47.880,00 (€ 47.889,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Bieler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Trois Jeunes Filles De Granois, 1920 im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 672.500,00 (€ 614.803,26).
