Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fille Dans Les Blés by Ernest Bieler was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2020. It changed hands for a price of CHF 118,750.00 (€ 111,686.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CHF 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ernest Bieler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trois Jeunes Filles De Granois, 1920 in June 2017 with an auction result of CHF 672,500.00 (€ 614,803.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fille Dans Les Blés von Ernest Bieler kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CHF 118.750,00 (€ 111.686,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernest Bieler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trois Jeunes Filles De Granois, 1920 im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 672.500,00 (€ 614.803,26).
