Auction result well in line with expectations

This work without title by Erik Schmidt was sold in the Saturday@Phillips auction at Phillips in London in March 2009. The price achieved of GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,561.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Erik Schmidt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ein Langer Sommer (A Long Summer) in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,127.09).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Erik Schmidt wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion Saturday@Phillips bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.561,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Erik Schmidt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ein Langer Sommer (A Long Summer) im Mai 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.127,09).
