Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Erik Parker could be acquired at Christies in Hong Kong in April last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Editions auction, the work FUTURE changed hands for HKD 7,560.00 (€ 914.06) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Parker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Big Time in May last year with an auction result of HKD 3,654,000.00 (€ 433,808.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Erik Parker konnte im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Editions wechselte die Arbeit FUTURE für HKD 7.560,00 (€ 914,06) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Parker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Big Time im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.654.000,00 (€ 433.808,22).
