Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Eric Duyckaerts could be acquired at Sothebys in London in March 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Taureau - Musée Du Louvre changed hands for GBP 313.00 (€ 395.19) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eric Duyckaerts - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cochon d'Inde (b), which sold at auction in October 2017 for EUR 1,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Eric Duyckaerts konnte im März 2016 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wechselte die Arbeit Taureau - Musée Du Louvre für GBP 313,00 (€ 395,19) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eric Duyckaerts mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cochon d'Inde (b) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2017 für EUR 1.000,00 versteigert wurde.
