Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Viento by Equipo Crónica was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 20,712.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Equipo Crónica have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jugada Juan Gris (Composición Triangular Dos Veces) in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 132,500.00 (€ 173,304.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Viento von Equipo Crónica kam im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 20.712,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Equipo Crónica auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jugada Juan Gris (Composición Triangular Dos Veces) im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 132.500,00 (€ 173.304,80).
