Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work I Don't Want To Be A Hero by Entang Wiharso. It changed hands for a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,591.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 140,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Entang Wiharso - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Feast Table Undeclared Perceptions., which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 58,050.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Don't Want To Be A Hero von Entang Wiharso zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.591,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 140.000,00 – 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Entang Wiharso mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Feast Table Undeclared Perceptions. beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 58.050,00 versteigert wurde.
