Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Superficie bianca by Enrico Castellani was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Milan in July last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 163,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enrico Castellani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Superficie Bianca in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 3,778,500.00 (€ 4,824,598.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Superficie bianca von Enrico Castellani wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 163.800,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enrico Castellani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Superficie Bianca im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.778.500,00 (€ 4.824.598,68).
