This artwork by Enrico Baj achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June this year. In the 20th Century to Now auction, the work The General sold for GBP 5,588.00 (€ 6,503.47) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enrico Baj achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande spettacolo in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 130,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Enrico Baj erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century to Now wurde die Arbeit The General für GBP 5.588,00 (€ 6.503,47) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enrico Baj erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande spettacolo im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 130.000,00.
