Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Enrico Baj achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in December this year. In the Post War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Specchio sold for EUR 15,360.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Enrico Baj have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Grande spettacolo in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 130,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Enrico Baj erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Specchio für EUR 15.360,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Enrico Baj auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Grande spettacolo im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 130.000,00.
