Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of Mary Palmer, Countess Of Winchilsea And Nottingham (C. 1712–57) by Enoch Seeman for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,511.44). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Enoch Seeman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Gentleman In Moroccan Dress, Probably John Montagu, 2Nd Duke Of Montagu (1690-1749) in December 2015 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 59,410.40).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of Mary Palmer, Countess Of Winchilsea And Nottingham (C. 1712–57) von Enoch Seeman für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.511,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00.
