Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Enio Iommi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,500.00 (€ 30,724.14) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Enio Iommi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2010 the work Untitled, 1949 (from the 'Interrupted Continuity' series was auctioned for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 39,017.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin America: Modern Art | Latin America: Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Enio Iommi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 30.724,14) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Enio Iommi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2010 die Arbeit Untitled, 1949 (from the 'Interrupted Continuity' series für GBP 32.450,00 (€ 39.017,47) versteigert.
