Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2009 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Formas Continuas by Enio Iommi. It changed hands for a price of USD 43,750.00 (€ 30,971.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Other works by Enio Iommi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2010 the work Untitled, 1949 (from the 'Interrupted Continuity' series was auctioned for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 39,017.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2009 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Formas Continuas von Enio Iommi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 30.971,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Enio Iommi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2010 die Arbeit Untitled, 1949 (from the 'Interrupted Continuity' series für GBP 32.450,00 (€ 39.017,47) versteigert.
