Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sin Título by Enio Iommi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2007. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,212.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Enio Iommi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled, 1949 (from the 'Interrupted Continuity' series, which sold at auction in July 2010 for GBP 32,450.00 (€ 39,017.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sin Título von Enio Iommi kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.212,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Enio Iommi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled, 1949 (from the 'Interrupted Continuity' series beobachtet, die im Juli 2010 für GBP 32.450,00 (€ 39.017,47) versteigert wurde.
