Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bacchus and Ariadne on a Triumphal Chariot (Bartsch 32) by Enea Vico was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2012. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,233.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Enea Vico - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Military Trophies (B. 442-49), which sold at auction in July 2002 for GBP 2,629.00 (€ 4,193.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bacchus and Ariadne on a Triumphal Chariot (Bartsch 32) von Enea Vico kam im Dezember 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.233,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Enea Vico mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Military Trophies (B. 442-49) beobachtet, die im Juli 2002 für GBP 2.629,00 (€ 4.193,36) versteigert wurde.
