Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master Prints, which included the work Vulcan and the Cyclopes forging Arrows for the Cupids (After Francesco Primaticcio) (Bartsch XV.297.31) by Enea Vico. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,254.37). Other works by Enea Vico have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,629.00 (€ 4,193.36) in July 2002 for the work Military Trophies (B. 442-49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vulcan and the Cyclopes forging Arrows for the Cupids (After Francesco Primaticcio) (Bartsch XV.297.31) von Enea Vico zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.254,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Enea Vico haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.629,00 (€ 4.193,36) im Juli 2002 für die Arbeit Military Trophies (B. 442-49) beobachtet.
