Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Enea Vico could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Prints auction, the work Ewer with a Handle fashioned as a Dog changed hands for GBP 250.00 (€ 295.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enea Vico achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Military Trophies (B. 442-49) in July 2002 with an auction result of GBP 2,629.00 (€ 4,193.36).
