This artwork by Emperor Jiaqing achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2004. In the The Imperial Sale auction, the work Scroll, mounted and framed, ink on pink paper with a floral pattern outlined in gold sold for HKD 107,550.00 (€ 6,981.22) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emperor Jiaqing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Regular Script in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 529,200.00 (€ 56,659.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emperor Jiaqing erzielte im April 2004 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Imperial Sale wurde die Arbeit Scroll, mounted and framed, ink on pink paper with a floral pattern outlined in gold für HKD 107.550,00 (€ 6.981,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emperor Jiaqing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Regular Script im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 56.659,15).
