Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Paris Atelier du Monde, which included the work Le Paddock by Emilio Grau Sala. The price achieved of EUR 1,690.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Grau Sala achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Después de la carrera in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 168,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Paris Atelier du Monde durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Paddock von Emilio Grau Sala zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.690,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Grau Sala erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Después de la carrera im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.000,00.
