Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Mother and Child with a Kitten by Émile Munier. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 30,048.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Émile Munier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Sauvetage (The Rescue) in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 336,000.00 (€ 397,397.99).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother and Child with a Kitten von Émile Munier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 30.048,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Émile Munier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Sauvetage (The Rescue) im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.000,00 (€ 397.397,99).
