Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Émile Munier achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2018. In the European Art auction, the work French La Baigneuse sold for USD 31,250.00 (€ 26,778.06) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Émile Munier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Sauvetage (The Rescue) in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 336,000.00 (€ 397,397.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Émile Munier erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion European Art wurde die Arbeit French La Baigneuse für USD 31.250,00 (€ 26.778,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Émile Munier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Sauvetage (The Rescue) im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.000,00 (€ 397.397,99).
