Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Market in Bali by Emil Rizek was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,240.00 (€ 9,447.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Emil Rizek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Balinese Market in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 61,722.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Market in Bali von Emil Rizek kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.240,00 (€ 9.447,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emil Rizek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Balinese Market im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 61.722,49).
