Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Village In Indonesia by Emil Rizek was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,006.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emil Rizek have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Balinese Market in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 61,722.49).

Die Arbeit A Village In Indonesia von Emil Rizek kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.006,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emil Rizek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Balinese Market im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 61.722,49).
