Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Balinese Temple by Emil Rizek was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,098.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emil Rizek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Balinese Market in October 2012 with an auction result of HKD 620,000.00 (€ 61,722.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Balinese Temple von Emil Rizek kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.098,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emil Rizek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Balinese Market im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 620.000,00 (€ 61.722,49).
