Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Emil Carlsen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in May this year. In the American Art auction, the work The Heath sold for USD 20,480.00 (€ 19,222.83) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emil Carlsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Pottery Jars in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 278,491.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emil Carlsen erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art wurde die Arbeit The Heath für USD 20.480,00 (€ 19.222,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emil Carlsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Pottery Jars im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 278.491,86).
