Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Emil Carlsen achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in May this year. In the American Art auction, the work Still Life sold for USD 33,280.00 (€ 31,237.09) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emil Carlsen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life With Pottery Jars in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 278,491.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emil Carlsen erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion American Art wurde die Arbeit Still Life für USD 33.280,00 (€ 31.237,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emil Carlsen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life With Pottery Jars im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 278.491,86).
