Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Bonhams in Paris held the auction American Art, which included the work Landscape (Wimbledon Common, England) by Emil Carlsen. The price achieved of USD 2,304.00 (€ 2,162.57) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emil Carlsen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Pottery Jars in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 325,000.00 (€ 278,491.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape (Wimbledon Common, England) von Emil Carlsen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.304,00 (€ 2.162,57) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emil Carlsen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Pottery Jars im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 325.000,00 (€ 278.491,86).
