A top price for Emi Kuraya
In May this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Yokosuka Seaside by Emi Kuraya. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,764,000.00 (€ 211,434.95), 18% above the upper estimate. With this result, Yokosuka Seaside is even the most expensive work of art by Emi Kuraya that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Emi Kuraya
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yokosuka Seaside von Emi Kuraya zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.764.000,00 (€ 211.434,95) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Yokosuka Seaside sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Emi Kuraya, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
