The work Victory by Emi Kuraya was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September this year. It achieved a price of HKD 819,000.00 (€ 98,815.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 41%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emi Kuraya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yokosuka Seaside, which sold at auction in May this year for HKD 1,764,000.00 (€ 211,434.95).

Die Arbeit Victory von Emi Kuraya kam im September diesen Jahres bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 819.000,00 (€ 98.815,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 41%. Für andere Arbeiten von Emi Kuraya mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yokosuka Seaside beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für HKD 1.764.000,00 (€ 211.434,95) versteigert wurde.
