Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Works: (i) Untitled (ii) Untitled by Emi Kuraya was sold in the Let Loose: Online Auction auction at Phillips in 29 June - in July this year. The price achieved of HKD 38,100.00 (€ 4,432.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emi Kuraya achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yokosuka Seaside in May this year with an auction result of HKD 1,764,000.00 (€ 211,434.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Works: (i) Untitled (ii) Untitled von Emi Kuraya wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Let Loose: Online Auction bei Phillips in 29 June - versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.100,00 (€ 4.432,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emi Kuraya erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yokosuka Seaside im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.764.000,00 (€ 211.434,95).
