Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Spy from the Cold, Nadja Auermann, Prague by Ellen von Unwerth was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,276.00 (€ 3,796.14). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ellen von Unwerth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parasol in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 65,244.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Spy from the Cold, Nadja Auermann, Prague von Ellen von Unwerth wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.276,00 (€ 3.796,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ellen von Unwerth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parasol im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 65.244,72).
