In October this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Supernatural lady", 1991. by Ellen von Unwerth. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 260,000.00 (€ 22,019.30), 73% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ellen von Unwerth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Parasol, which sold at auction in May 2016 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 65,244.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 73 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Supernatural lady", 1991. von Ellen von Unwerth zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 260.000,00 (€ 22.019,30) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ellen von Unwerth mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Parasol beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für GBP 50.000,00 (€ 65.244,72) versteigert wurde.
