A top price for Ellen von Unwerth
This artwork by Ellen von Unwerth achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in May 2016. In the Photographs auction, the work Parasol sold for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 65,244.72) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. This high result makes Parasol the most expensive artwork by Ellen von Unwerth that we have observed at auctions so far.
